Bird feeders and tables, nesting boxes and insect houses are all tools to help encourage wildlife into gardens.
There are other, natural, ways gardeners can tempt birds, bees and animals into their backyard as outlined in the Daily Mail.
The paper suggests that gardeners should take a more relaxed approach to mowing their lawns and they will soon see the fruits of their labour.
By raising the mower''s cutting height or letting the grass grow in some areas, flowers such as clover, daisy and vetch will spring up which will attract bumble and honey bees.
These insects will in turn encourage birds such as thrushes, swifts and woodpeckers.
The Daily Mail goes on to explain that once birds are in a garden, they will attract bats and hedgehogs.
Many of these creatures perform helpful tasks in the garden and the paper makes the point that ladybirds will consume thousands of greenflies in their lifetime.
Internet Gardener''s wall or tree mountable bird table is the ideal tool to encourage birds and start the wildlife chain in motion.
