Aerating lawns in winter

The Agri-Fab Walk Behind Spike Aerator will handle any lawn with ease.
A series of rotating star-shaped tines will slice into soil effortlessly allowing seeds, fertilizer, water, air, light and nutrients in.
Gardener Joe Swift has suggested that now is the time to be aerating and scarifying lawns, so it would seem like the perfect time to invest in an Agri-Fab aerator.
Writing in the Times, Mr Swift explained that to scarify gardeners should use a wire rake to go over the entire lawn to get out all the dead grass.
Next up is the task of aerating, which will let air and moisture through to promote healthy root growth.
Mr Smith warned gardeners not to be put off by appearances. He said: "It may look extremely dodgy and patchy by the time youve finished, but the healthy root growth should reward you with a lovely green sward next spring."
The Agri-Fab Spike Aerator is easy to push and requires no tool assembly.
