Welcome to The Internet Gardener Ltd, here’s a little bit about us….. We are a family run business based in rural Nottinghamshire. Our aim is to provide a wide range of products that you’d find in a conventional garden centre, from Leisuregrow Madrid Rattan Garden Furniture Sets to a Mowerland Electric Tillers, plus much more in store.

We feel our product range includes a fantastic selection of tools, accessories and gifts for both the amateur and the professional gardener. After trying the ‘search facility’ within the website, Should you require something that you can’t find then please don’t hesitate to e-mail us as we have access to many further items that haven’t actually been listed.

All products selected must fulfil our criteria of functionality, practicality, lifespan (will it stand up to the job) and style, and in doing so this helps us ensure that we stick to our company mission statement:

November 2009

We had a great night at the Garden Retail Awards. Although we did not win the Best Online Retailer Award, we came a very respectable second and were Highly Commended.....not bad when you consider all the established competition out there. We all had a great night and will add some photographs when we find the camera...as we said, it was a very good night!

October 2009

With exceptional growth and continued investment in the latest e-commerce technology, InternetGardener Limited has been nominated for Best Online Retailer in the HTA sponsored  Garden Retail Awards. The Awards Ceremony takes place on Monday 2nd November.  

September 2009

To ensure our Christmas Shop is ready for the end of October, we have been out late at night photgraphing the Christmas Decorations and adding products to the Christmas Shop. To get into the festive mood we even played Christmas carols whilst adding the Wooden Advent Calendar, Santa and train Silhouette and the 3D Santa and train Silhouette to our website. Our neighbours called round to see if everything was OK when they could see we had a Douglas Fir Pre Lit Artificial Christmas Tree and 120 Multifunction Multicolour LED Outdoor Lights set up and apparently ready for Christmas. All the Christmas Decorations have all been packed away again and will not see the light of day until December.

May 2009
Our garden furniture team has grown rapidly in the past few months to ensure we can process all our Leisuregrow Madrid rattan garden furniture sets and Bramblecrest rattan garden furniture orders quickly. January 2009
This month has been hectic with listing all our new garden furniture products online before the new gardening season kicks off. The latest category on our website to have an upgrade is Leisuregrow Garden Furniture. This category has been re-organised to reflect the new Leisuregrow Garden Furniture Catalogue. The West Virginia Garden Furniture sets are now listed with the Leisuregrow Gold Coast Garden Furniture Range which is a brand new range for this season. And the Leisuregrow Madrid Rattan Garden Furniture Sets are now listed alongside the Leisuregrow Corsica Garden Furniture sets. This will hopefully make it that bit easier for all our  online garden furniture customers to find their way around!

Another updated product in our range is the Mowerland Electric Tiller and Electric Cultivator. This fantastic Electric Tiller has received many great reviews both professional and from our customers. The Internet Gardener Team have managed to beat 1600 other business within the Midlands region to become of the the top 10 business as voted by HSBC Start Up Stars Judges.
This competition is one of the UK's most influential business awards and is sponsored and judged by Google, Sky New plus other prestigeous people. Our Online Garden Centre team is proud to have reached the regional finals for this award and thank HSBC and our local branch manager for their assistance and continued support.

JANUARY 2008:
The New and updated www.internetgardener.co.uk Online Garden Centre is now live for the 2008 gardening season. We now have a gardening forum so you can ask the team and other members all of your gardening queries and advice. We also have a new monthly gardening tips newsletter, new online garden shop category listings and much much more. This winter season we have been incredibly busy selecting, testing and preparing all of our products for the coming season and we think this year will offer our biggest and best online garden centre range of products, so now you can buy even more of your garden products online - Thanks for your support, Andy & The Team

 

December 2007:

Sue and Andy were invited to The BBC Radio Nottingham Morning Show to talk about the Garden Retail Awards and how the Online Garden Centre has taken off over the past two years, starting up as a family business, and the furutre plans for our Online Garden Centre. With tips of how to buy garden products online, gardening jobs for the month, and promoting our new monthly gardening newsletter, it really was a fun morning... well everyone likes a morning away from the computer

 

November 2007:
The Internet Gardener Team was lucky enough to become a finalist in the Garden Retail Awards, Young Retailer of the Year 2007 finals at the Grosvenor Hotel in London. This prestigious awards evening was a chance for us to celebrate our impressive growth over the past two years with the team, network with new garden product suppliers in the garden retail industry, and also to have a bit of fun!!

October 2007:
The Nottingham Evening Post Business Post heard about our Online Garden Centre Team's impressive success in only two years of trading and made our Online Garden Centre the feature article. The article featured topics such as how you can buy garden products online, how to tell if the website operates secure payments, along with upcoming developments such as the new and updated Internetgardener.co.uk Online Garden Centre website which will be released January 2007 so make it easier and simpler for you to buy garden products online safely, securely and always retaining the family run service that we base our business upon.
